Special Education Teacher – SDC 2nd and 3rd Grade

Hello! My name is L. Michelle Brooks, and I am proud to serve as a Special Education Teacher  teaching the SDC 2nd and 3rd Grade program here at Lincoln Elementary School, home of the Lions. I have a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs and enjoy creating structured, engaging lessons that help them grow in reading, math, and language arts. My goal is to provide a welcoming classroom where every student feels valued, encouraged, and successful.

A little about me: my favorite color is purple, and I enjoy Japanese and Thai food. Traveling and exploring new places are among my favorite hobbies. Most of all, I love spending time with my family and our 4½-year-old pug, Boo Radley.

I am so excited to be part of the Lion family and look forward to a wonderful year of learning and growth with my students!
