Super School Psychologist!
Hello there! My name is Erin Holman and I am the School Psychologist here at Lincoln! Although I am new to the Redondo Beach Unified School District, I have been a School Psychologist since 2001. I am an alumna of Loyola Marymount University where I received a double masters in Counseling and Educational Psychology. I hold Pupil Personnel Services credentials in School Counseling, School Psychology, and Child Welfare and Attendance. Additionally, I am preparing for my state licensure exam to become a Licensed Educational Psychologist and hope to start a private practice in addition to my work in the schools!
Here at Lincoln, I do many things! One of my primary tasks is to complete assessments for children suspected of having educational disabilities and support the IEP team and school staff in making appropriate interventions and support for children identified as having unique learning and/or behavioral needs. Other responsibilities include crisis counseling/support, development of Behavior Support Plans, observations of students that may require academic and/or behavioral support, serving as an administrative designee at IEP meetings, and facilitating Section 504 meetings.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my children; Isaiah (age 10) and Jaxson (age 2 ½). I am happy to be a Lincoln Lion and look forward to supporting you and your child’s needs! Please stop by and say hello!
