Welcome to Room 12!

Welcome to 4th grade!  My name is Courtney Horta, and I have been teaching 4th grade here at Lincoln since 2007.  Before coming to Lincoln, I taught in Buena Park as a 2nd grade teacher in a Sheltered English Immersion class.  I grew up in Redondo Beach, and I attended Madison Elementary School, Parras Middle School, and Redondo Union High School.  After graduating from this wonderful school district, I attended Cal State University Fullerton for my undergrad and multiple subject credential.  I am privileged and honored to be able to serve the community in which I grew up in.
